To use the SpeediCath standard female catheter, first wash your hands and prepare a clean area. Open the catheter packaging, gently insert the lubricated catheter into the urethra until urine starts to flow, and then remove it slowly once the bladder is empty. Dispose of the catheter properly and wash your hands again.
