Flaps can be useful for tucking the pad securely under a mattress or cushion, providing extra stability and preventing movement during use. While not all underpads feature flaps, they can be especially helpful for restless sleepers or on slippery surfaces. The current 23" x 36" and 36" x 54" pads do not list flaps, but with the range of underpads available, you may find options with or without this feature to suit your specific needs.
