Medicare and Insurance
If I have Medicare, do I have to pay anything?
Yes - but we'll file your claim for reimbursement with Medicare. (We hope you're not too disappointed!)
This is the first time I've ordered from you. How does Medicare reimbursement work?
Thank you for your purchase! Here's what we do regarding Medicare reimbursement.

1) You buy supplies from us.
2) We send you the supplies.
3) In a separate envelope, we send you:
    a receipt,
    a Medicare questionnaire, and
    a Medicare authorization form.
4) You send us:
    the completed Medicare questionnaire,
    the signed Medicare authorization and
an original doctor's prescription dated BEFORE the date you bought the supplies.
The prescription MUST be an original (not a copy or a fax).
5) We file a claim with Medicare.
6) Medicare sends you a reimbursement check in 4 - 6 weeks.

It's a lot of back and forth - but there will be a couple fewer steps once we have your records on file!
I've ordered from you before. How do I get my reimbursement from Medicare?
Thanks for your previous order! We should have your completed forms and doctor's prescription in our pharmacy records.

What if Medicare denies me reimbursement?
We can try to help. Send us a copy of the Explanation of Benefits you received from Medicare. We will determine the problem and refile the claim or, at least, send you a better explanation.
Do you need to have my Medicare paperwork and doctor's prescription before you send supplies I've ordered?
No. We can send you supplies when you purchase them. (And thank you for your order!) But remember that your doctor's prescription must be dated BEFORE you place your order.
If I have insurance, do I have to pay anything?
Yes. We'll send you a receipt to file with your insurance.
